You know, if you're looking for a great coffee spot with a bit of a buzz, Ascension on the west side is a solid bet. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the coffee and the food makes it worth it for most. They have this fantastic outdoor patio that’s perfect when the weather cooperates, usually bustling with people catching up or working on laptops. I'd recommend their flat white – it's consistently excellent – and their breakfast tacos are a popular choice. Expect a bit of a wait on weekend mornings, but if you go during a weekday afternoon, you can usually snag a table without much trouble. Parking can be a little tight right out front, so sometimes you have to circle a block or two, but it’s never a deal-breaker.
