When you use TownHop, we collect anonymous usage data to improve the app — things like which pages you visit and which businesses you view. We assign you a random anonymous ID stored only in your browser. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifying information unless you choose to submit a review, photo, or business claim.
We use Google Analytics 4 and our own internal analytics to understand how people use TownHop. These tools may set cookies on your device. You can opt out at any time by declining cookies on your first visit or by clearing your browser cookies.
If you submit a review, photo, or business ownership claim, we store that content in our database to display on the app. Reviews and photos are subject to admin moderation before going live. Business claim submissions include your contact email solely to verify ownership — we don't share it with third parties.
Anonymous analytics data is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted nightly. User-submitted content (reviews, photos) is retained until you request deletion below.
You can request deletion of any content you submitted using the form below — we process it immediately. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to access, correct, or port your data under GDPR.
