Bernhardt Winery truly shines, especially if you’re heading out for a relaxing afternoon or a lovely date night. It’s perched on a hill, offering some incredible views of the rolling countryside, particularly beautiful around sunset when the light softens everything. They're well-known for their Sunday concerts, often featuring talented local musicians, which creates such a wonderful, laid-back atmosphere perfect for spreading out a blanket on the lawn with a bottle of their robust reds or a crisp white. You'll find a nice mix of couples and small groups enjoying the music and the scenery, and while they don't have a full restaurant, their cheese and charcuterie boards are generous and pair perfectly with their wines. Parking is usually pretty easy in their gravel lot, but for the Sunday concerts, arriving a bit early ensures you get a good spot on the lawn and avoid any lines at the tasting room.
