So you're looking for good barbecue? Henderson & Kane is definitely a top-tier spot, but be prepared for a bit of a scene. It's almost exclusively outdoor seating under string lights, giving it a really lively, communal vibe, especially on a Saturday afternoon when the pitmasters are out and the smell of oak smoke hangs heavy. They're famous for their ridiculously tender brisket and those huge dino ribs that practically fall off the bone. Expect a wait, sometimes an hour or more, especially if you get there around prime lunch or dinner time. My tip: go for a late lunch around 2 PM to beat the worst of the crowds, or even better, pre-order online for pickup to skip the line entirely. It's a bit pricey, but for a true Houston BBQ experience, it's worth it.
