If you’re looking for a chill spot with fantastic drinks and a great vibe, you have to check out La Carafe. It’s a classic Houston bar, housed in the city's oldest commercial building, which gives it this incredible, historic atmosphere. They have a fantastic outdoor patio that’s perfect for a warm evening, and it’s definitely where you want to be if you’re people-watching or just enjoying the breeze. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the cocktails, and honestly, every drink I’ve had there has been top-notch. It can get pretty busy, especially later in the evening on weekends, so aim for an earlier arrival if you want to snag a good table outside without a wait. Parking can be a bit tricky downtown, but there are usually paid lots nearby.
