Alright, so when you hit downtown, you absolutely have to swing by Legacy Park. It’s not huge, but they’ve packed a lot into it, especially with those shaded seating areas and the way the native plants are integrated. You’ll often find people grabbing lunch from one of the nearby spots and eating al fresco, or just taking a breather in the middle of the day. The evening is when it really comes alive though, particularly if there's a free concert or an art installation happening; check their schedule online for that. It’s perfect for a low-key meet-up with friends, a quick solo escape from the office, or even a casual date before dinner. Parking can be a little tricky right next to it, so I usually just park in one of the garages a block or two away and enjoy the walk.
