You’ve definitely got to check out Martin House Brewing Company while you’re here. It’s right under the West 7th Street bridge, with this industrial-chic vibe – think exposed brick, high ceilings, and always some cool local art adorning the walls. They’re famous for their really unique, often experimental, beer flavors, like their Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer, which is surprisingly delicious and a local legend. On a nice day, their sprawling outdoor patio, complete with picnic tables and a view of downtown, is the perfect spot to hang out, especially with a group. It tends to get pretty lively in the late afternoon and evenings, but parking is usually manageable in their lot or on the street nearby. Just walk up to the bar to order your pours; they don't do table service.
