You absolutely have to check out Montecito Baking Co. when you're in Dallas. It's truly a five-star experience, and I always recommend it, especially for their incredible sourdough and the morning bun. Seriously, get there early, because the line can get long, especially on weekends, but it moves quickly. Their pastries are legendary, with flaky croissants that melt in your mouth and a rotating selection of seasonal tarts that are always perfection. The interior is bright and airy, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger over a coffee and a treat. Parking can be a bit tight, so consider going a little later in the afternoon for an easier time, though you risk missing out on popular items.
