The Vibe
You know, Pease Splash Pad is a five-star spot for a reason, especially if you have little ones who need to burn off some energy. It’s not a huge park with crazy slides, but that's its charm; it’s perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who just want to run through jets and gentle geysers without getting overwhelmed. You’ll see plenty of parents lounging on the surrounding grassy areas, keeping a watchful eye while their kids shriek with delight under the various spray features. Weekends and late afternoons can get pretty busy, so I always recommend going right when it opens in the morning to snag a good shady spot and avoid the biggest crowds. Parking can be a bit tight, mostly street parking along the park, so factor in a few extra minutes to find a spot. It's truly a quintessential Austin summer experience for families with young children.
