You should definitely check out Radio East if you’re in the area, especially if the weather's nice. It’s got this great, sprawling patio under massive oak trees, always bustling but never overwhelmingly so. They’re known for their coffee, obviously, but also for a surprisingly good food truck rotation — you’ll usually find Veracruz All Natural there slinging some of the best tacos in town, which is a perfect pairing for their iced horchata latte. Weekends can get pretty lively with live music and families hanging out, but even on a weekday morning, it’s a solid spot to grab a kolache and get some work done. Parking can be a bit tight, especially later in the day, so aim for an earlier visit if you’re driving.
