You've got to check out "The Saga" while you're here; it's a fantastic experience projected right onto the San Fernando Cathedral. They tell the story of San Antonio's origins with incredible visuals and sound, making the historic facade come alive. It truly shines after dark, so aim for one of the later showings for the full effect, as the city lights won't compete as much. It's a free show, which is a real bonus, and perfect for families or anyone interested in a unique historical presentation. The best spot to view it is usually right in the main plaza facing the cathedral, but arrive a little early to stake out a good spot, especially on weekends, as it does draw a crowd. You'll definitely want to capture some photos or video of the vibrant moving images.
