You should definitely check out The Mitchell, it's one of my favorites downtown. It’s got a sophisticated, almost speakeasy vibe inside with a dark wood bar and plush seating, but the real draw is their sprawling patio. It's fantastic for people-watching, especially during happy hour when it fills up quickly with the after-work crowd. They do classic cocktails really well, their Old Fashioned is consistently solid, and they always have a great selection of local beers on tap. Expect to pay a bit more, it's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the drinks and the atmosphere make it worthwhile for a date night or a relaxed evening with friends. Parking can be a bit tricky right on Main Street, so consider a ride-share or one of the nearby garages.
