You know, if you're looking for a really special spot with a view, The Moon's Daughters is fantastic, especially around sunset. It's up on the roof of the Thompson Hotel, so the panorama of downtown San Antonio is incredible, and with all the outdoor seating, you really feel like you're above it all. The vibe is sophisticated but relaxed, perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends over some excellent cocktails – their "Lunar Libation" is always a good call. They also have a solid menu of Mediterranean-inspired small plates, so you can easily make a light dinner out of it. It does get pretty busy, particularly on weekends, so I always recommend making a reservation, or at least arriving a bit before the dinner rush to snag a good spot outside.
