You really can't go wrong with Trinity Park's Duck Pond, especially if you've got little ones in tow or just want a peaceful break. It's exactly what it sounds like: a charming pond teeming with ducks, geese, and often turtles, all very accustomed to visitors. Mornings are usually best, before the heat sets in and when the light is just right for photos. There's plenty of space to stroll around the water's edge, and you'll find families picnicking on the grassy banks or enjoying the nearby playground. Parking is fairly easy in the designated lots off University Drive, just be mindful that weekends can draw a crowd, particularly around lunchtime. It's a simple pleasure, but a truly delightful Fort Worth staple.
