The Vibe
You really can't go wrong with Village Baking Co. if you're looking for quality bread and pastries, though it's definitely on the pricier side. They consistently earn their 4.8-star rating, especially for their rustic European-style loaves and the incredible morning buns. It's a small space, so it gets pretty busy, particularly on weekend mornings; expect a line out the door, but it usually moves quickly. Parking can be a bit tricky in the lot right in front, so sometimes you have to circle a block or two for street parking. Grab a coffee and one of their croissants – the almond is particularly good – and enjoy it on their little patio if the weather's nice. It's a great spot for a quick solo treat or to pick up something impressive for a brunch you're hosting.
