The Vibe

You know, if you're looking for a solid spot, Walking Stick Brewing Co. is a great call, especially if you're in the Garden Oaks area. It consistently pulls in high marks, and for good reason—their tap list is always interesting, leaning heavily into well-crafted IPAs and a few darker stouts that really hit the mark. The vibe is pretty relaxed, definitely more of a neighborhood hangout than a loud party scene, with a good mix of families earlier in the evening and couples or small groups later on. They don't do food themselves, but there's usually a food truck parked outside, which is convenient. Parking can be a little tight right in front, so I usually just find street parking a block or two over. It's a comfortable spot to just unwind and try some really good local beer.
