The Vibe

Wandering Hop is a solid choice, especially if you're looking for a spot that feels genuinely Yakima. It's got a laid-back, industrial-chic vibe, with plenty of exposed brick and metal, but it still manages to feel cozy, especially on a cooler evening. Their tap list is always rotating, but they're known for their IPAs and often have some interesting sours on offer; you can't really go wrong asking the beertenders for a recommendation. They don't do food themselves, but they almost always have a food truck parked outside, so it's a good spot for a casual dinner. Parking can be a bit tight right in front, but there's usually street parking available a block or two away. It's best experienced on a weekday evening or earlier on a weekend afternoon to avoid the biggest crowds.
