Weights + Measures is a fantastic spot in Midtown, one of those places that just feels right, especially for a nice evening out. They do modern American with a focus on seasonal ingredients, and their pizzas are always a hit – the mushroom and truffle oil one is a personal favorite. The vibe inside is chic but comfortable, with exposed brick and a bit of an industrial-meets-warm aesthetic, but the real draw, especially on a pleasant Houston night, is their expansive patio. It's a gorgeous space, strung with lights and often buzzing with a sophisticated but relaxed crowd enjoying cocktails and dinner al fresco. Parking can be a bit tight right on the street, so aim for a spot in their small lot or one of the side streets if you can. It's definitely a spot for a date night or a leisurely dinner with friends, not really a quick bite kind of place.
